The acclaimed international photography museum is expanding to Miami
Fotografiska, the Swedish photography museum, is adding a Miami location to its existing roster of sites in Stockholm, Tallinn, and New York. The private museum. The 42,000 square-foot Miami branch, which is set to open in 2023, is located in Allapattah in a Rockwell Group-renovated industrial building - next-door to the Rubell Museum and Superblue, which specialises in experiential art.
The space will feature unique design elements such as a central outdoor courtyard and rooftop garden and will further build upon Fotografiska's status as a museum experience for the modern world, combining immersive photography exhibition spaces with eclectic cultural events.
