Long Chim London by David Thompson

The world’s most lauded Thai chef, David Thompson is bringing his Long Chim casual Thai concept restaurant to London.

The celebrated chef is considered by many to be the world’s leading authority on Thai cuisine. His restaurants perennially earn Michelin stars and rank on “The World’s 50 Best” list - including Nahm which opened in London in 2001 and was awarded a Michelin star within six months, the first Michelin star ever for a Thai restaurant.

Thompson went on create Long Chim in Singapore as a restaurant reflecting his earliest influences and showcasing the spices and diversity of Thai street food. The restaurant has since expanded to Sydney and Perth. Thompson is opening the London outpost in a historic courtyard (with an extensive outdoor courtyard) in the very heart of Chinatown. Expect a populist yet authentic take on Thai food than Nahm.
