One of London's most enduring and best loved restaurants is returning under the new name Arlington.

Regarded as one of London's most famous restaurants - a favourite of A-list celebrities and royals alike, closed after serving as one of the West End’s most prestigious restaurants for almost 40 years. With its black and white décor, David Bailey photographs and long dining bar, Le Caprice commanded the deepest loyalty of any restaurant in London.

The iconic restaurant (the original name is owned now by Richard Caring) and favoured celebrity hot spot (Princess Diana called it her "home from home") is being reborn at the original location by the original owner - the esteemed restaurateur Jeremy King. Joining King for the reopening of the Le Caprice site is Jesus Adorno, a former director of the restaurant who joined its team on the same day as Corbin and King in 1981 and remained at the venue until its closure in 2020.

Expect the same luxury Art Deco backdrop (think chic, yet understated decor) and an upscale menu featuring classic British, European and American favourites and classic brasserie dishes - such as their famed salmon fishcake with buttered spinach and sorrel sauce and crispy duck and watercress salad. King has stated "It will of course be a new version but I hope you will find it reassuringly familiar in how it looks, and what we serve."
