For one night only on Friday 8th of July, Emma Bengtsson, Executive Chef at the two-Michelin-starred Nordic restaurant Aquavit New York, will dish up a seven-course dinner with Jonas Karlsson, Head Chef at Aquavit London in St James’s Market. Celebrating the very best of Scandinavian cuisine, the menu showcases the freshest local ingredients and honours traditional cooking methods championed by both chefs.
Aquavit in New York was awarded a second Michelin star in 2014, making Bengtsson the first Swedish chef to be awarded two Michelin stars, and only the second female chef based in the United States to do so. Prior to moving to New York, Emma worked at some of Sweden’s most renowned restaurants, including the two-Michelin starred Edsbacka Krog, Restaurant Prinsen, and Operakällaren. Bengtsson is known for her innovative take on traditional Swedish classics.
