Mott 32 is the internationally renowned high-end Chinese restaurant, which has outposts in Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Vancouver, Las Vegas and Dubia. The name pays homage to New York City’s first Chinese convenience store which opened in 1851 at 32 Mott Street, and went on to became the center of NYC’s sprawling Chinatown.
Expect a fabulously over-the-top room marrying classic Chinese elements with industrial features - creating a bold design that sees Western and Eastern influences combine. Menu-wise expect a traditional dim sum menu, along with a more rarified dinner offering exploring Cantonese, Szechuan, and Beijing-style cuisine. The main event, though, is the applewood-smoked Peking Duck, which takes 48 hours to prepare in a special air-drying duck fridge and then roasted.
