King at Carousel

New York restaurant royalty King comes to London for a five day residency at Carousel Fitzrovia.

New York restaurant royalty, King, arrives in Fitzrovia for a 5-night stint from 7th-11th March, collaborating with Carousel on a menu of seasonal hits inspired by the home cooking of southern France and Italy as part of the culinary hub's international guest chef residency programme.

Co-owner and chef Jess Shadbolt and Executive Chef Angeles Chavarria will join Carousel’s own Ollie Templeton and the team in the kitchen to evoke the spirit of King in London, showcasing the understated yet elegant dishes that have made the restaurant such an enduring hit. Expect seasonal food with influences from southern France and Italy, such as hand-cut ravioli with swiss chard, potato and saffron butter; and poisson en papillote of monkfish, red mullet and mussels with Florence fennel and pastis.
