Leña London by Dani García

A London outpost of the well-renowned Spanish chef's Madrid smoke-focused steakhouse...

García is one of Spain’s most internationally renowned and acclaimed chefs. Previously behind Manzanilla restaurant in New York as well as his eponymous three Michelin star restaurant Dani García in Marbella, on Spain’s southern coast, though both have since closed. García currently operates - BiBo - his brasserie-meets-tapas bar concept, which has outposts in Marbella, Madrid, Tarifa, Malaga Doha and also in London inside The Mondrian Hotel.

With Leña - the central focus of the steakhouse is meat and the different ways to cook it – whether smoked or grilled – which also form the basis of the space’s design concept - underpinned by an earthy yet intense palette of dark colours and natural textures. Menu highlights include: A5 Wagyu beef sirloin with a tamari soy sauce and fresh wasabi and smoked beef rib - aired with beef sausages, coleslaw and homemade barbeque sauce.
