Rosetta's

An intimate natural wine bar serving a superb selection of sharing plates with an Italian twist.

After the success of Chef Elliot’s flagship vegan tapas place, Bar Boca, Rosetta’s recently opened its doors in Bairro Alto. Here, the streets lead a double life, deserted by day and teeming with a raucous crowd by night. Finding your way through the maze of people can be a struggle, even for locals, but it's well worth it.

As part of the growing natural wine cult, there’s an awful lot to be stimulated by in this warm setting. Start by tasting your way through the eclectic wine list accompanied by Italian green olives, brown butter and fluffy sourdough. A glance at the daily menu will leave you with no choice but to try it all. As fairly priced sharing plates go, you won’t find much better than this. Expect modern dishes - stracciatella with basil oil and crispy artichoke, as well as classic, but with a twist -  two finger thick shrimps expertly cooked in a garlic oil with salmon roe. Arguably, Rosetta’s is soon to be one of Lisbon’s best wine and tapas bars, so best get reserving!
