The dinner celebrates Blanc’s legacy and takes place at Darby’s, Robin Gill’s restaurant in Nine Elms. Gill will orchestrate an evening during which dishes will be cooked by chefs such as Luke Selby, now Executive Chef at Le Manoir, James Goodyear, Head Chef Evelyn’s Table, and Eric Chavot - of two-Michelin starred The Capital Hotel. Tickets (from£165) include a welcome drink and a six-course dinner that champions the tips and tricks passed on by Blanc through the years, with an exquisite drinks pairing also available.
Widely acknowledged as one of the world’s finest chefs, Raymond Blanc’s impact on the culinary scene is unparalleled - Blanc opened his two Michelin-star Oxfordshire restaurant and hotel Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons 40 years ago, mentoring scores of chefs who have since gone onto win accolades themselves - where an impressive 34 of his protégés have gone on to win a Michelin star.
