Shanghai Me London

Inspired by the glamour of Shanghai in the 1930s, expect opulent interiors and aromatic Asian dishes - from this Dubai import.

Located on the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane - formerly home to Galvin at Windows - the sky-high dining room offers panoramic views of London. The original Dubai restaurant (replacing a planned outpost of London's China Tang) takes inspiration from 1930’s Shanghai, and features rich-hued interiors. On the menu, expect a blend of flavours from across East Asia, with a mix of lighter plates and more indulgent dishes using recipes that have been preserved from generation to generation with a playful twist. Expect everything from roast duck with foie gras and caviar to silver cod with yuzu miso sauce. Elsewhere, indulge in dishes such as spicy slow-cooked lamb ribs with peanuts, mapo tofu in a clay pot and soft-shell crab with green papaya salad.
