The dinner starts at 7pm, and U will enjoy a extensive selection of wines, such as 1959 Champagne Dom Pérignon Vintage 1959, Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 1945, Echézeaux Joseph Drouhin 1947, Echézeaux Joseph Drouhin 1947 and Château d'Arche Crème de Tête 1914 among many impressive others, alongside an 5-course tasting menu - prepared by Marcus Verberne - Head Chef at 67 Pall Mall, the private members wine club.
François Audouze's collection of wines is one of the greatest in the world. For the dinners already made, he opened over 2,055 wines from his own cellar with an average age of 50 years, (the oldest served at one of his dinners being a 1791 Constantia of South Africa). He has a unique knowledge and experience of old wines and will accompany U to better understand the fantastic world of ancient wines. He has hosted just two private dinners in the UK previously - at Le Gavroche in 2003 and last year at Atelier de Joel Robuchon.
Places are attributed on a first-come-first-served basis and only available to members of Urbanologie and 67 Pall Mall. Places are priced at £2,250 per person.
