With its tagline ‘isn't just a fitness club, it's a temple of well-being’ is to launch this new high-end hospitality brand specifically to target health-conscious travelers, with a provision of high-end fitness facilities and amenities. CEO Harvey Spevak expects to unveil their first hotel in 2018 in New York’s Hudson Yards and will include indoor and outdoor swimming pools and, at 60,000 square feet - the largest ever Equinox gym. A Los Angeles hotel is slated to open in 2019 with ambitions to open in 75 locations, where their gyms are already established (including London, Dallas, San Francisco and Miami).
The design is being overseen by Yabu Pushelberg (also behond the design of the stunning London Edition hotel) and will feature modern décor and integrated technology. Guests can receive in-room and personalized one-on-one coaching and access to a destination restaurant that focus on organic and locally sourced fare. Spevak has quoted that “We want our members and our guests to mesh with each other”...Our mind is already spinning.
