The London Restaurant Festival

The London Restaurant Festival features an incredible line-up of gastronomic delights and unforgettable events across the capital.

Now in its sixth year, the festival lifts the lid of London’s finest cooking from Michelin-starred restaurants to neighborhood bistros. As a citywide celebration of eating out, 250 restaurants are taking part with great value Festival Menus

There are also restaurant-themed tours of the capital. With your first course in one top London restaurant, your main in another and dessert in a third, London's most original gastronomic road trip returns. There are three, themed Gourmet Odyssey trips this year: Hotels, East London and America and the line-up includes The Clove Club, The Lockhart and Holborn Dining Room, to name but a few.

In addition, the Tapas Tours return to this year’s festival, along with last year’s popular Cicchetti Trails, and Japanese Journeys. Festival-goers can experience the best Spanish, Italian, Japanese food the capital has to offer guided by their unique passports, which will be used to redeem a dish and a drink in each of six participating venuesNew for 2014, is the Chinatown and Canary Tours - six restaurants in each village have been carefully selected giving guests a chance to explore some of the best restaurants in these iconic areas of London. A number of fringe (Side Order) events are also taking place from talks, tastings, and demonstrations.

The London Restaurant Festival has also invited one of world's most celebrated photographers, Rankin, to curate a three-course dinner inspired by the Italian cinematic masterpiece, Cinema Paradiso. After a complimentary cocktail on arrival, guests are taken to the Princess Anne Theatre to watch the film and enjoy a box of gourmet popcorn. After the movie, Rankin will host a three-course dinner, taken from a menu devised by himself and BAFTA 195 Piccadilly's Head Chef, Anton Manganaro.
