The decade of shoulder pads, big hair and leg warmers is back this summer as two West London institutions, the iconic Bluebird Restaurant and 1980s-inspired nightclub Maggie’s, team up to create a totally ‘80s summer' in Chelsea.

The team behind the Thatcher-era themed club are co-hosting the ultimate retro pop-up bar complete with Rubick’s cube tables, bean bag chairs, ‘80s arcade games, and a ping pong table. 

This first-time coalition is open Mondays to Saturdays from the of 28th July to August Bank Holiday weekend in Bluebird’s (recently refurbished) courtyard, the ideal location to enjoy cocktails al fresco.

Smack Daddy, a punchy blend of vodka, Galliano, passion fruit juice and purée, vanilla syrup, topped with Champagne and the much loved Maggie’s Mug, made with vodka, Chambord, fresh lime juice, vanilla syrup and blackberry, topped up with soda water.
