After an incredible year of success in which Pergola on the Roof transformed their enormous rooftop from the original Mediterranean-inspired pergola to a Nordic winter forest, Pergola on the Roof once again opens its doors to the public, this time to reveal a taste of Long Island living. Expect a picturesque vision of New York’s The Hamptons, with the unique space completely redesigned and inspired by the summer destination of the USA’s East Coast - think calming white-washed wood and decking.
100ft above West-London’s skyline, Pergola on the Roof features a selection of London’s best-loved restaurants who have come together for this lavish summer scene, serving up a range of their signature and bespoke dishes. Returning after a successful 2016, burger legend Patty & Bun resumes its usual spot joined by Breddos Tacos, who will be dishing out fresh tacos; 8 Hoxton Square, who will be serving the best of what’s in season whilst drawing its inspiration from the Mediterranean and Salt ‘n’ Sauce, a spin-off brand of Bonnie Gull, dishing up their take on fish and chips, seafood dishes and ‘whippy’ ice-cream.
Open from Wednesday to Sunday (opening times vary).
Television Centre is soon to be redeveloped and will house a new branch of private members’ club Soho House, consisting of a 47-room hotel and restaurant as well as a roof-top pool and an outpost of Chelsea's Bluebird restaurant.
