From basketball star to celebrity personal trainer to nightclub entrepreneur, Joe Fournier is taking his lifestyle organization global with exciting new openings to announce in 2016. Deemed the ‘Richard Branson’ of nightlife, Fournier, has had his hand in opening some of London’s most popular hot spots over the years including Whisky Mist, The Rose Club, Bonbonniere London, New York and Mykonos. Currently Fournier lives between London, Miami and New York, while spending his summer in Mykonos for his most recent club opening, Bonbonniere Mykonos. Fournier gives us his recommendations of his favourite places to visit in London and New York – from award-winning cuisine to cozy intimate spots there is something for everyone.

Al Boccon di’vino - London 

Al Boccon Di'Vino was opened by Riccardo Grigolo, who is originally from Venice. The restaurant is small and cosy with a great atmosphere and a Venetian inspired interior. The most interesting aspect of the restaurant is that there is a no menu policy, so you will eat what Riccardo prepared for that day - basically they come with the pan in hand and serve your food into your plate. Also there is no wine list, so if you would like to order wine you try the house wines imported from Italy which are quite savoury. 

Estiatorio Milos - New York 

The freshest, most flavourful fish, vegetables and fruits, prepared in the subtlest way and served in an elegant, spacious setting, is why Milo's has become of one of New York's most lauded restaurant. Costas Spiliadis, owner/chef, is continuing the standard of excellence he began in Montreal, where he opened the original Milos, now a landmark. Patrons can choose their fish from an abundant market display and watch it swiftly grilled in the open kitchen. Feast on savoury, yet simple dishes and impeccable service - all in classic Greek tradition.

Mastro’s Steak House - New York 

Mastro’s is hailed by diners and critics alike as one of the “top 10 steakhouses in the U.S.” and the preferred steakhouse of celebs and locals. Mastro’s Steakhouse started as a family-owned restaurant, founded in Scottsdale Arizone in 1999, and now is a collection of sophisticated, classic steakhouses and sumptuous fish houses around the country. Favourite dishes include the pound and a quarter full lobster in garlic mass and the bone in rib eye steak.
