Edible Cinema & the Science Museum Lates present Tim Burton’s Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.

Tim Burton’s Charlie and The Chocolate Factory is the next immersive installment in Edible Cinema’s series of sensory adventures and their first ever outing with the museum’s giant Imax cinema, which seats over 400 and boasts a 408sqm screen. Part of the museum’s after-hour themed nights at the IMAX cinema, expect visceral thrills and an imaginative dinner menu.

Turning a night at the cinema into a memorable ‘gastronomic theatre’ event, the experience harnesses the power of taste, smell and texture to enhance the cinematic experience. Each guest is supplied with a tray of numbered ‘mystery boxes’, containing a bite-sized tasting menu corresponding to scenes in the film, and a carefully matched themed cocktail. A signal indicates what should be opened and enjoyed, when.

Tickets cost £37 each and are on sale at 9am on Friday 28th August.
