How do you start your day? I’m an early bird - up with the Larks for a run along the Thames along the South Bank or into GYMBOX for a beaty workout. This is my way of setting the agendas for the day and enables me to eat and drink pretty much as I please.
Leisurely lunch go to? Casse Croûte on foodie Bermondsey Street – run by owner Herve this is a taste of France – simple, honest and original – it’s like being in France for an hour or if a Friday – all afternoon.
Favourite way to pass the time in London? I am a Magazine hoarder - I love flicking through magazines over good coffee – not sure if I ever get to read all of them properly, but I am drawn to a well-thought magazine, the photography, imaginative writing and of course the paper – a welcome shift for the brain from looking at the Mac.
Favourite London landmark, and why? The Tate Modern in the former Bankside Power Station – it’s like a dinosaur along the Thames front, I love the brutal outline, the scalability within and the sheer presence - it’s a piece of living drama.
Tipple of choice and favourite cocktail hangout? I’ve taken to hooking up with friends for an apero – great to catch up, chit-chat express style at Mele e Pere on Brewer St – Negroni is my tonic after the day.
Favourite dining destination, and why? Spring by Skye Gyngell at Somerset House – earthy delicious food with just the right amount of fuss, buzzing, attractive service and perhaps one of the most stunningly designed dining rooms in London right now – and perfect moody lighting, where even I look good.
Final stop for a nightcap, and why? If I am still awake – I like to make a pit-stop at Cafe Boheme – this is where you can witness the colourful characters that make me smile – they add gritty interest to London.
Rest hangover remedy? I use my health blender to create the perfect twist to Bloody Mary hugs a Gazpacho - blend everything that you usually find in both adding a tot of vodka.
Where next on your travels? I become a bit of a nomad post summer and head off for some light island hoping to the Cyclades - September through to October is magical – everyone’s in good form, the crowds have left and beaches are stripped bare of the sweaty sun loungers.
