Offering a breath of fresh air in Dubai's bar scene, Cocktail Kitchen is modern, yet laid-back and takes its cocktails seriously. The design echoes the refreshing ethos with its clean contemporary lines accented by splashes of bright turquoise. Housed in Armada Blue Bay Hotel, the cavernous space is split into a long bar, a dining area, and a covered terrace, plus there's a separate training room where they host regular tasting events and mixology masterclasses.
While the cocktail and mocktail menu is one of the most varied in town, including a mix of classic and innovative with quirky names to match - think 'Honey, I'm reserved', and 'Someone that I yuzu know'! - the kitchen's offerings are equally exciting. The compact, Mediterranean-inspired menu features well-executed renditions of classics such as veal ossobuco, crispy octopus, and Josper grilled seafood and meats. Even the food menu doesn't shy away from being a bit tongue-in-cheek in its titling - 'Duck on a sidecar', anyone?!
With a sincere intent to offer casual, affordable quality, while fostering a sense of community amongst F&B professionals, it won't take long for Cocktail Kitchen to become everyone's favourite local.
