It's located in a car park, hidden behind a black door painted with a bearded face, and the DJ only plays vinyl... The Hobo Club is all set to become the sleeper hit of Dubai's nightlife scene. Tucked away at the back of Nassima Royal Hotel, the secret club features brightly lit red brick graffiti-ed walls and colourful murals. Resident DJ Sol (as well as international guest DJs on occasion) spins retro tunes and current hits but only off vinyl records, adding instant street cred to the hipster hangout. The bar offers unique cocktails such as Gypsy Water, Houdini, Spitfire and house special, The Hobo, to keep the cool crowd fuelled. Surprises are the name of the game here - think pizza boxes for late-night hunger pangs, and lollipop unicorns!
Intrigued yet? Head down there next Monday night, as it all goes down just once a week. True to form when it comes to exclusive club rules anywhere in the world, entry is free but at the doorman's discretion only. But this is Dubai, so table reservations are available too.
