Christopher Kostow is the driving force behind Northern Californian three-starred The Restaurant at Meadowood, which is often considered one of the best restaurants in the country, if not the world. The chef and his business partner, Nathaniel Dorn, who are currently in the process of opening up a new restaurant also to be located in the Napa region, have brought their unique flavours to New York for the month of April allowing East Coasters an exclusive taste. Buddying up to the kitchen at The Nomad Bar, the Michelin Starred chef will be debuting dishes like tempura-fried avocado, served with a dipping sauce of crème fraîche, oyster liquor, and chopped oysters. These unique plates will be available alongside the Nomad's already stunning food menu so you can dabble back and forth between the different coasts.
The new restaurant, The Charter Oak, will open towards the end of the year in St Helena, California. Where Meadowood is fine-dining, this new venture will be much more of a family style relaxed service, with massive communal tables and a huge hearth as a focal point.

"Chicken, rye pasta," which is more like dark-rye chicken dumplings with Indian style spices.
