The NoMad Bar

The NoMad Hotel has seriously upped the ante for glamorous drinking and dining in the old Garment District.

The hotel’s old-world Parisian décor – all drapery, pot plants and soaring ceilings – sets a tone of grown-up conviviality.

There are a number of bars within the hotel, including the NoMad Bar (which has a separate entrance around the corner at 10 West 28th Street), a two-floor space with a working fireplace, the Elephant Bar, a dramatic 24-foot long mahogany bar with seats at the bar and plenty of standing room at tables, and the Library, a stunning two-storey space with an original spiral staircase, imported from the South of France, and an eclectic and extensive collection of books.

Throughout all the spaces, Bar Director Leo Robitscheck has created a drinks list of classically-focussed cocktails and reserve cocktails with rare spirits, plus unusual beers from the US and Europe.
