Faith and Pizza Pop-up

Barley chef owner opening new concept in Kendall come May serving up pies topped with locally-sourced ingredients.

The guys behind Barley - the soon-to-reopen gastropub in Dadeland - are concentrating on another upcoming concept: Faith and Pizza. The pop-up located steps away from the new Barley spot plans to open in May, bringing gourmet pies and gastropub-inspired grub for a limited time. 

The pop-up will reside in the former Flippin' Pizza space, but there aren't any details about the overall style and design as of yet. Knowing the Barley guys, we're betting it will be super comfy with a relaxed vibe.

As for food, we know Chef Jorgie Ramos will be creating plenty of hearty grub to devour here, including pizza made with locally-sourced toppings and an extensive oyster menu - like what Barley is known for.

So far the drink menu is kept under-wraps, but since Barley is all about offering craft brews and boutique wines, we're thinking (and hoping!) this spot will follow suit. Stay tuned.
