The pastry chef, who has worked with Michelin-starred chefs, including Daniel Patterson and Michael Mina, made a serious name for himself after winning the title of Best Pastry Chef from San Francisco Magazine and being named one of the top 10 pastry chefs in America by Dessert Professional Magazine.
Since leaving the Absinthe Group and announcing plans to open a restaurant in Los Angeles, foodies have been in waiting with bated breath to find out Corbett’s plans, which are still unconfirmed.
However, starting June 30, the chef will host a vegetarian dinner series at LAMILL Coffee Boutique every Thursday and Friday, with a weekly-changing menu.
And unlike the Michelin-starred restaurants Corbett has worked in, his pop-up isn’t only affordable to an elite few: Diners can enjoy the tasting menu for $40, as well as an optional beverage pairing with each course for an additional $20.
Reservations aren't necessary and the menu is offered between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

The initial four-course dinner menu includes: vadouvan French onion dip with fingerling potato chips; smoked corn soup; a falafel plate with English pea falafel, carrots in sumac and scallion tzatziki; and roasted strawberries with ricotta mousse, lemon yogurt cake and candied celery.
