Nadi Al Quoz references the Arabic word 'nadi' which means community club, and as such, this space is designed to become a hub for the creatively inclined community of Dubai. And if the airy, sun-drenched space isn't inspirational enough, their series of workshops, salons, reading groups, and classes certainly will be.
Designed to ignite the imagination, the diverse event series range from life drawing sessions, and design workshops, to yoga classes and Ikebana sessions, running on different days over 14 weeks. Their Saturday Speaker sessions, starting September 3, feature an inspirational list of artists, musicians, writers, and anthropologists such as Uzma Rizvi, Karim Sultan, and Saira Ansari. All the activities are free, but prior registration is necessary.
The 'urban oasis' space in Warehouse 90 is open for people to walk in, seven days a week, from 10am-7pm. F&B is offered by Wild and the Moon, an Alserkal-based café that specialises in organic, natural, and plant-based dishes and drinks.
