Abel and Cole are popping-up (until October 1st) at The Brickhouse, Brick Lane during four weeks in September. With head chef Leon Aarts, (previous Top Chef in the Netherlands, now entrepreneur and philantropist) looking after the veg-centric inspired menu. U can expect fantastic and organic and seasonal food, with dishes (changing on a weekly basis) such as kale caesar salad, Dutch hutspot (Pork Stew with Roast Veg) and Sunday Roasts - with plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans alike. Open every day from 12 noon to 10pm, apart from Thursday evenings.
The pop-up restaurant is running themed and evening events, involving the Abel & Cole farmers, producers and guest chefs. The project is also supporting local charity Weavers Adventure Playground, a play space and community center tucked away in East London which provides children with cooking skills and health and well-being initiatives.

Roast squash with gorgonzola and almonds; mushroom gnocchi with garlic confit; roast aubergine with hummus and pickled vegetable sandwich and poached cod with vegetables and aioli garni.
