An Ibizan oasis set just off Es Figuertas beach, Es Vive was the first luxury hotel on the island, founded by owner Jason Bull, and is one of the most stylish to date. If you’re looking to stay somewhere with a true Balearic vibe, with white washed walls, palm trees and the ambient beats of a poolside DJ, then Es Vive is the perfect setting.
One of the best beach resorts on the island, with panoramic views of Cap Martinet and the Mediteranean Sea. The location, coupled with a fantastic poolside cocktail menu, makes Destino an idyllic place to unwind in the afternoons and set yourself up for the evening ahead.
Having once been the scene of Freddie Mercury’s 41st birthday party and known for the legendary swimming pool of Wham’s Club Tropicana fame, Pikes is the most infamous spot in Ibiza and continues to host stylish and A-list guests in its 25 room, 500-year-old property in the San An hills – the legendary parties are still rolling too! Arguably one of the best aspects of Pikes is the array of artwork housed there including the likes of London-based artist, Rory Dobner… and of course the delicious BULLDOG Brunch which can be enjoyed there every Wednesday.
One of the most iconic clubs in the world, its HQ in Ibiza is a go-to nightspot. With some of the best international DJs and incredible performances, there’s something there for everyone.
Formentera
Whenever I’m in Ibiza I love to sail around the idyllic Formentera and hop off for lunch at ‘Juan and Andrea’ – it is without doubt one of my favourite restaurants, with impeccable seafood dishes and right on the beachfront overlooking one of the best views in the Mediterranean.
Ushuaia
The brain-child of Yann Pissenem, Ushuaia is an experience not to be missed. The open air club sees some of the biggest DJ’s on the planet grace its stage and its legendary parties are a hot ticket on the island. An entrepreneur to look up to and someone who harnesses the “BULLDOG Spirit”, Yann’s group now own the three largest hotels in Ibiza and he has recently added the island’s largest club, Space, to his rosta.
