Ten previous finalists of the BBC's MasterChef: The Professionals have come together to host a charity dinner on 14 November at Adam Handling’s the Frog E1, London, to raise money for Dementia UK.
The meal will consist of five courses, although each of the 10 chefs will be creating their own dish. One half of the guests will receive different meals, made with the same ingredients, to the other half and will be encouraged to ‘swap, share or steal’ the dishes.
The chefs involved include Adam Handling, who took part in the 2013 series and nine contestants from the 2015 show: Andi Walker; Mark Stinchcombe; Nick Bennett; Darren Sivewright; Scott Barnard; Danilo Cortellini; Bobby Retnakumar; Joey O'Hare; Dean Westcar and Gavin Barnes. Last year’s semi-finalist, Andi Walker, organised the event to honour his grandmother who has been diagnosed with dementia.
Tickets cost £100 per person.
