The head chef at Aurora, Capri’s famed, celebrity favourite restaurant, is a guest chef at Ristorante Frescobaldi in Mayfair, this November.
Franco Aversa’s London residency brings dishes such as grilled squid with creamed potatoes, citrus-roasted cod with almond fillet, and Caprese ravioli stuffed with caciotta (cheese) in a tomato sauce. Diners will be able to order exclusively from Aversa’s guest menu, or mix it with Frescobaldi's usual seasonal, Italian offering.
Situated in the heart of Capri, Aurora is one of the island's most popular restaurants and also the oldest. Owned by the D’Allesio family for more than a generation, this traditional Caprese kitchen has its roots in authentic Neapolitan cuisine - and the place to see and be seen. Celebrity fans include: Jay Z, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Giorgio Armani and Catherine Zeta-Jones amongst its regulars.
