Billed as 'fun is the new fine dining', Foodiva's monthly Dine Arounds take you on a journey through various cuisines in renowned restaurants, paired with sommelier-selected fine vintages. The mystery dining experience leaves the actual restaurants a surprise until you're actually there (only the starting location is revealed to guests, and the roster of restaurants change regularly), but typically the evening starts off with sundowner champagne - complete with some sabrage action - and canapes, followed by a three course sharing-style meal. You could find yourself tucking into Mediterranean-style grilled squid with salsa verde and dried piquillo peppers; Peruvian delicacies such as grilled skirt steak with yucca; and decadent North Amerian desserts like Pecan butter tart, enjoying the convivial company of fellow foodies and making new friends in the process. 

Dine Around Dubai is priced at AED 850 per person, and are only held once a month, the next one is scheduled for November 28; price includes food with wine pairing, and car transfers wherever applicable. The exclusive small-group tours are available for limited numbers, so best to book soon before they get sold out.
