One Star House Party

Former Noma chef and Tom Aikens protégé James Sharman is heading to London with the "worlds most travelled restaurant”.

The ambitious venture is the latest in Sharman’s One Star House Party series which sees him hosting dinners in 20 countries over 20 months. Every month, he and his team of four friends (including a former manager of Soho House and a chef from The Ledbury) spend three weeks planning and building unique pop-up restaurants and then serving food inspired by the ingredients that they find, and the experiences that find them. So far their restaurants have taken them to 8 very different places including, the Base camp of Mount Everest, night trains through Vietnam and to the streets of Mumbai.

This October the team behind 'the worlds most travelled restaurant' is heading to London's Notting Hill for 4 weeks only, serving an eight course tasting menu, made up of their favourite dish from each of the countries they have built a restaurant in - from China, Vietnam to Kenya and South Africa. Reservations are available on the 15th September at 12 noon via their website. Tickets are priced at £85 per person and the pop-up restaurant is BYOB.
