The Lee Alexander McQueen Foundation invites you to The Reindeer 2016, their holiday collaboration with Bistrotheque, an immersive temporary Christmas dining affair, featuring the work of Sarabande designers and artists in residence - based on their 2006 experiential pop-up 'guerilla' restaurant.
This Christmas, The Reindeer returns, taking place at the Sarabande HQ in Haggerston - with the dining event doubling as an open house, allowing guests unique access into the designers' workspaces, and all proceeds from the event will be fed back into the foundation.
Each event centres on Tord Boontje's fang-shaped Ketel One Bar, created for Sarabande - serving a Citroen-based cocktail designed by Ketel One – before U enter an immersive winter wonderland to enjoy a warming six course festive meal devised by Bistrotheque head chef, Blaine Duffy.
The new iteration of The Reindeer is topped off an atmospheric ceiling installation created by one of Sarabande's supported designers, Esna Su. Central to the immersive display, this installation proudly showcases the inventive work being created within the foundation's walls. Tickets cost: £110 for lunch and dinner is priced at £130.
