One of Spain’s most prolific chefs, Quique Dacosta, is bringing his innovative style of cooking to London, which has seen him awarded three Michelin stars for his Quique Dacosta restaurant in Denia and one Michelin star at El Poblet in Valencia, with his eponymous restaurant named 39th in the Top 100 Restaurants in the World (and 49th in the latest World's 50 Best Restaurants).
The plan for a premium rice restaurant, is backed by the team behind the Iberica chain of restaurants. A heavyweight of top end Spanish dining, Dacosta is actually a self taught chef having started at a family run seafood restaurant near Alicante, working his way to head chef, before taking over the business entirely. The only other details we know is that the restaurant (which undoubtedly is set to become a chain), features 25 metres of stoves where diners can sample traditional Spanish paella.
