The building, a formerly unlovely 1950s seaside hotel, has been deftly remodelled. Think colourful tiled walls, seventies rattan furniture and swaying strings of light bulbs, with potted plants unfurling from every corner. The vibe is part-rustic, part-mid century and part Caribbean beach shack. Come for lazy lunches on the sprawling quayside terrace or supper beneath the tobacco-leaf lanterns. Order cocktails before tucking into tapas dishes including avocado gazpacho, tuna tartar and miso aubergine and dishes such as tuna burger Nikkei or the solomillo.
