The Battle of the Bravas

A competition that decides which of London's top Spanish restaurants can cook the best patatas bravas

Camino Monument will be home to London’s first ever patatas bravas challenge, the Battle of the Bravas. Hosted by Camino Founder and MD Richard Bigg, the cook-off sees chefs from the Capital’s best-loved Spanish restaurants go head to head under one roof, competing for the title of best patatas bravas in London. Contestants include Brindisa, Encant, Social Wine and Tapas, Salt Yard, Copita, Lobos Tapas, Iberica, Barrica, Bar 44, and Boqueria.

Each entry will be judged by a panel of renowned food writers and journalists, including BBC Good Food’s Barney Desmazery, The Guardian’s Felicity Cloake, and Barrafina ex Head Chef, Nieves Barragán.

The Battle of the Bravas takes place 9th May at 18:00-20:30 at Camino Monument, tickets are £15 and include a sample of each entry, plus a welcome drink.
