A pop-up botantical cocktail bar, set in a roof garden in the heart of London (on the banks of the Thames, just 15 mins from Waterloo), where founder Lottie Muir (AKA The Cocktail Gardener) grows many of the ingredients for her mixes. On Friday and Saturday nights she sheds her gardening gloves and dons her apron and moves from flowerbed to bar, rustling up seasonal plant-powered cocktails, made with the harvest from her garden and from foraging trips nearby.
Enjoy some culture with your cocktails and explore one of London’s truly hidden gems - with a (optional) complimentary guided tour into Brunel’s underground Grand Entrance Hall beneath the roof garden - and uncover the history of the first underwater tunnel in the world. Then relax around the campfire, enjoy a Greek BBQ from Pan chef, Despina Siahuli (ex E5 Bakehouse and French and Grace), toast marshmallows on the campfire and watch the sun set over the Thames.
Midnight Apothecary is open every Friday and Saturday through to the end of September. Doors open 5.30pm, last orders 10pm. Tickets are £5 and need to be pre-booked online. Tickets.
