Chef Ben Spalding (trained at some of the world’s finest Michelin starred restaurants including 28+ Restaurant in Gothenburg, Per Se, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, the Ledbury, Bagatelle, The Fat Duck, Le Manoir, Vue de Monde & L’Enclume) is bringing his new concept "Small Plate Sessions" pop-up, at The Last Days of Shoreditch street food festival.
The food offering is split between two areas: A 50-cover mezzanine restaurant where you can expect innovative small plated dishes such as Gressingham duck breast cooked in a chocolate salt crust, chicken skin sandwich & black cod ceviche with iced Kaffir lime. Dinner (from 5pm) is priced at £28 each, which includes any four dishes from the menu. Tickets. There is also a more relaxed, no-reservation terrace and bar overlooking the festival, serving dishes cooked in a Mibrasa charcoal oven such as barbecue crack rib for two, Cornish monkfish roasted on the bone and charred lamb minute steak with crispy garlic & lemon thyme.
Expect a combination of fast, affordable dishes of high-quality restaurant-level cooking enhanced with live DJ, producer and musician sets tinged with jazz, soul, disco, funk and groove from some of the finest artists and producers in the country.

Gressingham duck breast cooked in a chocolate salt crust, chicken skin sandwich, black cod ceviche with iced Kaffir lime, hot & cold San Marzano tomato and the famous ‘chicken on a brick’.
