Bonnie Gull at Brown Hart Gardens

A pop-up summer residency serving daily fresh British fish and shellfish in a hidden oasis in the heart of Mayfair.

They're serving up a fantastic range of grab & go plus sit-in options at breakfast and lunch and a table service seafood bar in the evenings - in The Garden Cafe in Mayfair’s iconic Brown Hart Gardens.

Expect the usual day-boat fresh British seafood as well as some delicious vegan options on a light, healthy summer menu. There's also a carefully selected wine and spirit list, plenty of fizz, Pimms, fresh juices and their signature ‘Bonnie Mary’ cocktail. Open Monday to Sunday, 8am - 9pm. No reservations.

Brown Hart Gardens is a raised terraced garden in Mayfair, immediately south of London’s Oxford Street - nestled between Duke Street and the Beaumont Hotel. Built in 1906 above the old Duke Street electricity substation by architect Sir Stanley Peach who covered the substation with a 950 sq m roof, a domed gazebo and steps at either end.

Beetroot cured Loch Duart salmon, quinoa, broad beans, horseradish dressing; Cornish octopus carpaccio with soy, ginger, chilli & spring onion and the seafood platter: half Selsey brown crab, half a Cornish lobster, Scottish Langoustines, rock oysters, Cornish mackerel escabeche & beetroot cured Loch Duart salmon.

Highlights

In addition to the daily offering, Bonnie Gull will be hosting a number of public events in the gardens throughout the summer including an open-air screening of Wimbledon and a Champagne and Oyster festival.
