Following a champagne arrival, Michel Roux Jnr throws down the gauntlet with his signature artichaut lucullus, a braised globe artichoke stuffed with truffles, and foie gras served with a Périgord sauce. From Michel’s daughter Emily Roux will serve up roast veal loin with coriander, while father Albert Roux adds a sweet note with poached pear, buttery shortbread biscuit and blackcurrant and sabayon coulis. Paired wines are by Corney & Barrow and a Louis XIII Cognac tasting rounds off the evening.
Dinner is priced at £395 with ten per cent of all proceeds to go towards Roux at The Landau’s chosen charity, DEBRA, the national charity supporting individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis bullosa.
