IGO Adventures: Scotland Weekend Challenge

A multi-discipline weekend adventure in the Scottish Wilderness...

IGO Adventures have launched their first weekend event, taking place in Scotland in May - ideal for those with little time to spare, but who still yearn for adventure. Imagine exploring the area around Loch Lomond in Trossachs National Park, sleeping in bell tents and feasting on locally sourced organic produce, cooked in the wild accompanied by a host of traditional Scottish entertainment.

Choose to enter in a team (of 2 or 4), or solo, at a leisurely ramble or high octane pace. All levels are expertly supported from physios to photographers, with the chance to forage and make fire. The first challenge takes place in May this year, with a second challenge in May 2019. This challenge takes you through the Trossachs National Park, starting with a 16km trail hike from the quaint village of Luss. After a night camping by a remote bothy, you canoe across Loch Lomond to bag one of the most stunning Munros in the Highlands: Ben Lomond. It’s then simply a matter of heading back to camp for an evening of traditional Scottish hospitality. Places are priced at £545 pp and includes accomodation and experience.

About the organiser: IGO Adventures organise a series of multi-discipline challenges in some of the world’s most spectacular locations - the brainchild of Bobby Melville, inspired by his 48 day voyage rowing across the Atlantic to win the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. His business partner George Bullard is a multiple world-record holding explorer.
