Garden of Light Installation by Marie Curie

Marie Curie is creating 4,000 illuminated daffodils to launch its biggest annual fundraising campaign.

The immersive art installation is open to the public from Thursday 1st until Sunday 11th March. Walk through the daffodils and stained-glass structure, which has been created as a place for personal reflection and calm. The space includes a trail of sculptural daffodils, inspired by the charity’s emblem, which emerge from the flower beds, each individually designed by artists and famous faces.

While walking amongst the 4,000 daffodils, listen to letters from patient’s families, describing the vital care and support their relatives received from Marie Curie Nurses. The moving audio brings to life a small selection of the more than 50,000 people each year that turn to Marie Curie for support, creating a poignant tribute to the charity’s work in caring for people living with a terminal illness.
