Allegra by Patrick Powell

Former Chiltern Firehouse head chef Patrick Powell sets up his own venture on the seventh floor of Stratford's Manhattan Loft Gardens.

The Irish-born chef has previously worked alongside Anthony Demetre at Wild Honey, and took the helm at Demetre’s three month pop-up at Tower 42 - before working with Nuno Mendes at Chiltern Firehouse. The Modern European restaurant (with huge expansive terrace with herb garden) produces much of their ingredients from their own farm as well as curing their own charcuterie to serve.

Manhattan Loft Gardens is a stunning cantilevered 42 storey tower featuring a triple height entrance lobby, a seven storey 'design' hotel, spa, 2 restaurants, 3 sky gardens and 248 private flats, apartments, lofts and penthouses. Designed by internationally acclaimed ‘tower’ architects SOM, Manhattan Loft Gardens is located directly between the main entrance of Stratford International station and the new Westfield Stratford City, with views overlooking the Olympic park.
