Allegra by Patrick Powell

Former Chiltern Firehouse head chef Patrick Powell's own venture on the seventh floor of Stratford's Manhattan Loft Gardens.

The Irish-born chef has previously worked alongside Anthony Demetre at Wild Honey, and took the helm at Demetre’s three month pop-up at Tower 42 - before working with Nuno Mendes at Chiltern Firehouse. The modern European restaurant (with huge expansive terrace with herb garden) produces much of their ingredients from their own farm as well as curing their own charcuterie to serve.

The main dining room evokes the timeless grandeur of a Scandinavian farmhouse – featuring an open kitchen, sweeping stone bar and rich, stained oak furniture, illuminated by Allegra’s floor to ceiling windows and framed by a natural stone Montpelier floor. Retractive glass walls open out onto the cutout terrace and large garden with unparalleled views overlooking the London skyline.

Ideal For

Sky-rise dining

Favourite Table

Outdoor seating areas are sheltered by the triple-height, cedar cantilevered roof and illuminated pergola. A separate terrace menu features dishes cooked from the outdoor wood-burning grill, which acts as a large fireplace during autumnal evenings.

Favorite Room

Allegra's terrace flows into the remarkable Highline Sky Garden, - an intimate, outdoor dining space set amongst an elevated meadow of wild flowers, water features and cedar pathways. Sheltered under a spectacular, cedar-cantilevered roof and fairy-lit pergola, the comfortably heated terrace provides an enchanting alfresco dining experience all year round.

Signature Dishes

Mackerel tartare with salted cucumber, buttermilk & apple; smoked eel pie with parsley sauce; suckling pig with swede cake, peanut, mustard fruit & sage and pot roasted summer cabbage, with potato and baked cheese.
