Inspired by the vibrant culture of Sri Lanka, Paradise is a new pop-up celebrating the flavours, culture and colours found on the tropical tear drop island.

Their debut residency is taking place in Balham’s supper-club haunt, Brother Marcus, in celebration of the Singhalese New Year. Paradise is a collective of Sri Lankan chefs; drawing upon generations of family recipes, street food stalls and buzzing coffee shops, from bustling Colombo to food rich Jaffna. Together, they bring a creative take on the real taste of Sri Lanka, with a menu that shows a creative take on the traditional, using produce naturally found on the South Asian island. Tickets are £35pp.

Beetroot string hoppers & kiri hodi made with white rice vermicelli noodles, market vegetables, creamy coconut gravy, topped with Maldive fish and fermented pancake made with rice flour and coconut milk, with poached egg and served with a sweet onion sambol and spicy onion and chilli relish.
