Adam Rawson at The Standard London

Former Young British Foodies Chef of the Year, Adam Rawson is working alongside Mission Chinese chef Angela Dimayuga at The Standard London.

Chef of the Year (at the Young British Foodies awards 2015) Adam Rawson, left British-Peruvian restaurant Pachamama and is in charge at the restaurant at the hugely anticpated Standard hotel - working under the creative chef best known for her stint as executive chef at Mission Chinese New York. 

The James Beard-nominated Filipinx-American chef has brought her inventive cooking and multi-disciplinary cultural skills to the Standard hotels. As Creative Director of Food and Culture - she's responsible for the highly-anticipated London outpost (now without hotelier André Balazs) slated to open this year - the first Standard outside the US.   

The former Camden Council building (dubbed 'the Egg Box') features an three-storey roof extension, inspired by the nearby Swiss Cottage Library and house a rooftop bar, restaurant with a terrace and suites alongside 250 bedrooms. 

Before opening the temple of Sichuan cuisine on the Lower East Side - an outpost of Danny Bowien’s cult San Francisco hole in the wall, Dimayuga was also an alum of the critically-acclaimed Dumbo restaurant Vinegar Hill House. Known for her inventive cooking she is also highly regarded for blending art, music and food cultures to create unique culinary experiences and as an advocate of women's rights and LGBTQ issues. Recently she publically turned down a request for interview from Ivanka Trump lifestyle website.
