Scrabble is marking its 70th anniversary by opening a pop-up store at Westfield London
The pop-up exhibition (on Sunday 28 October, from 12pm to 8pm) showcases the popular board game through different immersive experiences including; a giant 3D Scrabble tile, a chance to play against players at the World Scrabble Championship Finale and try your hand at playing the Scrabble Space Edition - the world’s first gravity-defying version. Participants at the pop-up store (located in the lower ground atrium) are also given the opportunity to vote for the next word to appear in the Scrabble dictionary. Apart from the pop-up, there will be a film that will feature rappers, poets and writers exploring the evolution of language and words through the lens of Scrabble.
