Yeni Lokanta has become one of the places to see and be seen in bustling Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. Founded by Civan Er, one of Istanbul’s most critically acclaimed chefs - bringing the original restaurant’s signature style to London. Influenced by Istanbul’s rich food culture and the famed Silk Road, Yeni draws influence from the different ethnicities which unite on the streets of Civan’s hometown.
Expect Anatolian-inspired yet modern, seasonal dishes like dried eggplant-stuffed manti and raki-infused sea bass with cheese and rocket - using mainly local produce and some ingredients imported from Turkey. Expect effortlessly cool, paired back but simplistically stylish interiors creating a contemporary and convivial vibe - complete with Nile-sea green tiles and solid Onyx wall behind the bar reflects the soft glow of the old market town inspired lanterns.
