London's iconic Cantonese restaurant is heading to Dubai.
Created by the late Sir David Tang, the founder of China Clubs in Hong Kong, Peking and Singapore, as well as the life-style brand, “Shanghai Tang”, China Tang offers some of the most authentic Cantonese food outside China, and has outposts in Las Vegas and Hong Kong.
Opening in 2019, in the DIFC Gate Village 11 development - expect sumptuous and glamorous interiors (as with the London branch, at The Dorchester hotel) designed to evoke a romantic sense of the Art Deco era of the thirties and the menus do not compromise on classical Chinese recipes and traditional Cantonese cuisine; with dishes like prawn toast and deep-fried spring rolls to Peking duck carved expertly at the table.
