Initially there was the world’s first ‘‘Pay-By-Poker’’ restaurant (in Haggerston) where the price of your meal was determined by your success at the table. Now comes Brunch Bingo – another opportunity to gamble for your meal.
Taking place (on 7 March) at The Wells (in Clerkenwell) expect a lazy morning of retro bingo, brunch and cocktails. Bingo cards cost £2 each on arrival, with two games each lasting 45 minutes (played over two hours) with plenty of prizes up for grabs; a full house will be rewarded with a £50 bar in the first game, and a three-course dinner for two at any ETM (gastropub) sites in the second round. There will also be random spot prizes so everyone has a chance of getting lucky.
