The 'hiden' Oden Bar is open until the end of March and serves just one dish - Oden - one of the oldest fast foods in Japan. The one-pot dish consists of several ingredients such as boiled eggs, daikon, konjac, and processed fish cakes stewed in a light, soy-flavored dashi broth - served with mustard. To pair with the dish, bar manager Reo Nomura has created Nikka Whisky Highballs which is Nikka whisky infused in-house with Earl Grey, blueberry, lemongrass, raspberry, apple, cinnamon and pink pepper, topped with soda. Priced at £20 or pick and choose what you add to your bowl with individually priced ingredients.
