Downtown favorite Astro Doughnuts and Fried Chicken is opening in Santa Monica and launching LA's first CBD-infused doughnut.

The new shop, marked by a 113-foot exterior mural of an astronaut, marks the group's debut across the 405. 

And that’s not all. Marking its Westside launch, Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken is also launching LA’s first CBD doughnut: a chocolate birthday cake doughnut with a CBD-infused chocolate  buttercream frosting topped with sprinkles.

But it's not just doughnuts – the all-day dining menu features breakfast chicken sandwiches, a French toast doughnut, bone-in fried chicken, fried chicken sandwiches, and vegetarian friendly items including roasted brussels sprouts and a grilled cheese sandwich made with savory doughnut bunsas well as locally sourced beer and wine. 

The new 1,300-square-foot space features an outdoor patio with seating for 30.
